Joanna Fronczak was always interested in different fields of art. From drawing and painting through playing on the instruments and in the theatre to designing and making jewellery. Finally jewellery became her biggest passion.
After few years of designing and making amateur jewellery from beads, wires, wood and felt she decided to try her hands and get admission to School of Jewellery in Birmingham (UK). At this time she was not even conscious of how good reputation this institution has.
As a result of application Joanna came to Birmingham in 2008 to undertake Foundation course in Art & Design on Birmingham City University.
In following year she got place on a reputable HND Jewellery & Silversmithing course in School of Jewellery in Birmingham’s famous Jewellery Quarter. During this course she gained excellent bench skills and knowledge of using tools and heavy machinery.
After finishing HND course Joanna decided to complete her knowledge with designing skills. That is why she decided to continue studies on a Top-Up BA course Design for Industry.
This course gave her possibility to learn different CAD programmes, like Rhino, Matrix, Delcam and 2D packages like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel.
Joanna is passionate jewellery designer, which likes creating innovative pieces. She appreciate evolving herself with new challenges, technologies and methods which allows her to improve her skills further.
She is sociable, communicative person, who likes meeting new people. She enjoys working on her own as much as collaborating with members of the team.
